Lanique Fray goes by the stage name "La’Nicki”. 

Born 16 February 2004 raised in Soweto. A rapper, and songwriter. I’ve always been really enamored with creating music. I always found myself writing whether it be my own music or music for other artists. My musical journey began at the age of 15 and hasn’t stopped since. 

My music ultimately focuses on my drive, and how we strive to make it out of life’s situations. What’s it like growing up in Soweto and in essence expressing the hustle and my day-to-day life as a dream chaser; my creativity and versatility speak for themselves.

 I hope to inspire and stimulate all kinds of people from all parts of the world to continue to strive no matter what life throws at us . Also, remember that we can make a change whether it be big or small.

My EP designed for this is a great clarification of my craft. Of who La’Nicki is what she stands for and most importantly the message she’s trying to spread.

The album comes with eight tracks along with features from reputable names in the music space. The likes of Jay Jody and Huzet got a nod on the music project.
